Edible Formby Project
The team prepare for the new 2013 growing season in the grounds of the swimming pool. They meet every Wednesday morning and welcome visitors and volunteers alike.
Communities now have new powers to shape development through Neighbourhood Planning, a new right introduced through the Localism Act 2011.
It allows communities to prepare:
• Neighbourhood Development Plans;
• Neighbourhood Development Orders; and
• Community Right to Build Orders.
Who can undertake Neighbourhood Planning?

“Formby residents campaigning to protect the green belt and resist housing development have presented a petition to Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council. The petition called for a full Council meeting to discuss the issue.”
